"I had my MD thesis data sitting idle for 2 years. IR converted it into a PubMed-indexed paper in 14 weeks. The process was structured, the team was responsive, and most importantly — they stayed until publication. My Oriel application is now complete."

"Just received my PMID from BMC Research Notes — Scopus indexed. 8 months ago I had no publications. 6 months ago I found Ingenious Research. Today my NHS portfolio has 2 papers. If you're an IMG wondering whether it's worth it — it absolutely is."

"Two journal rejections and IR never once suggested we give up or move to a lower-quality journal. They revised the manuscript each time and resubmitted. Third submission — accepted. PMID live in Embase."

"Working with IR was a completely different experience from what I expected. They don't just write your paper — they teach you why each section is structured the way it is. I actually understand research methodology now."

"Excited to share that our paper on metabolic syndrome prevalence is now live on BMC Research Notes, indexed in Embase. This journey took 6 months of work with the incredible team at Ingenious Research — doctor-led, journal-editor reviewed, and published without compromise."

"The zero-predatory-journal policy is the reason I chose IR. I've seen colleagues publish in journals that damaged their reputation. IR only works with real, indexed publications. Non-negotiable. Exactly what I needed for my NHS application."

There’s a common misconception I keep hearing from doctors.
“Which index should I focus on? PubMed, Scopus, Embase, or Google Scholar?”

The truth is you can work with any of them.
Because research is not defined by the database it sits in but the quality.

In real practice, what matters is simple:
Did you do genuine research?
Is the methodology clear?
Is it ethically sound?
Is it publishable in a peer-reviewed environment?

If the answer is yes, the indexing system becomes a pathway not a limitation.
PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Google Scholar are all platforms that help your work reach visibility.

The problem starts when doctors overthink indexing before they even start writing.
You don’t choose the index first.
You focus on the work first, then the journal & index follow.

Research is not about chasing labels, it's about surviving till the peer reviews.
That’s the part most people miss..

One of the PG Seniors pinged me late last night.
And what she told me was disastrous.. 90 days to thesis submission..
Supervisor unreachable for three weeks.. The worst part was the Methodology section, she hadn't started it.. She asked me,"Is it too late?"
I told her: NO, only if we start it from start..tonight....
our team at Ingenious Research Centre for Medical Research will help in a structured way under the guidance of Dr. Prashanth Arumugam
Here's what the next 90 days looked like: Week 1–2:
Thesis audit: We identified exactly where the gaps were.
Research question, study design, literature review structure, all these sections needed re-work
It wasn’t the worst attempt as I have already seen worse situations then this..
Week 3–4: Research plan executed.. Study design confirmed. Methodology section written with her.
After each & every part re-done, it was explained & then documented..
Week 5–10:
Literature review, data chapter, discussion chapter wise chapter. Every draft was reviewed carefully & once again.
Every comment was explained for learning perspective & so that she doesn’t get blank..
Week 11–12:
Viva preparation. Mock questions. Her answers.
My feedback. Back and forth until she could explain every methodological choice without notes. Week 13:
Thesis submitted. Two weeks after submission, she messaged again.
"Viva done. Passed. No major corrections. They asked me three methodology questions. I answered all of them..
